About Artist

I’m Mollie Mason, a Cleveland, Ohio–based artist specializing in live wedding painting and guest portrait experiences. During the week, I’m an elementary art teacher, and on weekends I bring art into some of life’s most meaningful celebrations by painting weddings and live events throughout Northeast Ohio and beyond.

I’m a self-taught artist who fell in love with painting over a decade ago. What began as a daily creative practice quickly grew into a professional art business, and in 2021 I officially launched Mollie Mason Art. Since then, I’ve had the honor of creating live wedding paintings and custom commissions for clients across the country.

My work has been featured multiple times in Voyage Ohio Magazine, showcased on Fox 8 News, and I am proud to be an Artist for the Elyria Arts Council. In addition to live event painting, my custom artwork has been shipped to collectors throughout the United States.

My approach to live wedding painting is expressive and intentional, focusing on emotion, movement, and connection rather than strict photographic realism. I primarily paint the bride and groom to create timeless compositions that feel romantic, uncluttered, and personal.

With a background in education and years of experience working live at events, I bring a calm, organized, and professional presence to every wedding. My goal is to create artwork that not only captures the feeling of the day but becomes a meaningful heirloom for years to come.
